1) After
removing all original front suspension, trim out shock towers from inner fender
panels.
2) Trim off any
protrusions on frame in area 6” ahead and behind axle centerline. Using
provided boxing materials, enclose frame rails in that area.
3) Follow
regular instructions for crossmember, spring tower and strut rod bracket
installation.
4) After
installing crossmember kit, build sheet metal fillers to fill in areas in inner
fenders above new spring towers. Make sure to leave space for upper a-arm
travel.
5) On some
models it may be necessary to relieve the outsides of the frame rails behind the
springs for clearance. Check this with the spring towers tack welded in place
before final welding by putting a spring up into spring tower making sure it
clears outside of frame
